Bitcoin Mining 3080 Reddit / New Jump Force fighters: SSGSS Vegeta/Goku & Golden Frieza / 17.3 eth has been as low as $1,557 this year.
I got lucky and own a 3080 since december. I recommend asus' 3080's card for mining. For long term mining expectances this is not sustainable, nor for the memories. I started mining in early march only. On a side note, with fans at 100%, my 3080 aorus master can sustain 95 mh on desktop, sometimes hitting thermal throttling point, going down to 90 and shortly after to 95, being all thr time on the edge of thermal throttling.

I started mining in early march only. Ok well you aren't mining bitcoin on gpu's, nobody has mined bitcoin on gpu's in like 8 years. I know own the equivalent of $1500 in different crypto currencies, all by mining eth with my 3080. For long term mining expectances this is not sustainable, nor for the memories. 17.3 eth has been as low as $1,557 this year. I recommend asus' 3080's card for mining. It's sitting at $729 as of 12/29/20. It added $30 to my monthly bill. You are selling your hashrate used to mine altcoins (mainly ethereum), can it be profitable, yes, but 3080's and 3090's have memory overheating issues that may need to be addressed and we still don't know the longterm effects of running the gpu memory that close to the point where it throttles. To get the $12,xxx used in the article, you have to have eth at >$742, which on coinbase isn't even the current price. On a side note, with fans at 100%, my 3080 aorus master can sustain 95 mh on desktop, sometimes hitting thermal throttling point, going down to 90 and shortly after to 95, being all thr time on the edge of thermal throttling. For like 18h a day, the rest i'm playing. I got lucky and own a 3080 since december.
